Max is on board!
Late Sunday night we received a phone call from the guard at the gate house at Tierra Del Sol. One of the groundskeepers was told by a guest that they had found a baby kitten.
We drove up to the gate house and there he was, in a box with tissues and ice cold. We got him back to the house as soon as possible and started to warm him up. He was in pretty good shape after he warmed up and proceeded to have a good meal before bedtime.
We estimate him to be a bit over a week old as his eyes are just starting to open. We also suspect that the mother may have been in the process of moving her litter and the people found the first one to be moved or the last one that was still in the original nest. Not taking that into consideration they assumed it was abandoned and took it to the the grounds keepers.
